Cloud UIS – Cloud Storage and Collaboration Service of the University of East Sarajevo

https://cloud.ues.rs.ba/ (login page: /index.php/login) represents the official cloud service (cloud storage and collaboration platform) of the University of East Sarajevo, based on Nextcloud technology (or similar open-source platform for personal cloud, such as ownCloud/Nextcloud).

This service enables secure storage, synchronization and sharing of files in the cloud for members of the university community.

Main purposes and capabilities of the platform:

  • Personal cloud file storage (documents, presentations, images, video recordings, scripts, etc.) with access from any device
  • File synchronization via desktop and mobile applications (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS)
  • Sharing files and folders with other users (within the university or externally, with access control: link, password, expiration period)
  • Real-time collaboration (editing documents, spreadsheets and presentations via integrated tools such as OnlyOffice, Collabora or Text)
  • Creation and management of groups/projects (for team work at faculties, research groups or student projects)
  • Calendar, contacts, tasks and other productivity applications (depending on configuration)
  • Security options: two-factor authentication (2FA), encryption, file versioning and recovery of deleted files

The platform is intended for students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the University of East Sarajevo. It is used for academic needs: storage of teaching materials, assignment of tasks, team work on projects, archiving research data, etc.

System Access

  • On the page https://cloud.ues.rs.ba/index.php/login there is a standard login form with username (usually in the form of e-mail address @ues.rs.ba or @student.ues.rs.ba) and password.
  • Accounts are created and assigned by the University Computer Center (URC) or the home organizational unit upon enrollment/employment (often linked to an existing e-mail account).
  • In case of forgotten password, reset is done through support („Forgot password?“ option on the login page).
  • Public access is not possible – a valid university login is required.

The service is part of the broader digital infrastructure of the University of East Sarajevo (together with eUIS, eStudent, eEmployees, mail.ues.rs.ba, etc.) and provides a modern, secure and flexible way of working with files in the cloud.
