LimeSurvey UIS – Online Survey Platform of the University of East Sarajevo

https://limesurvey.ues.rs.ba/ represents the official platform for creating and conducting online surveys (LimeSurvey) of the University of East Sarajevo. The system is based on the open-source LimeSurvey tool, a free and open software for online research, which enables flexible data collection in various contexts of academic and administrative work.

Main purposes and capabilities of the platform:

  • Creating and managing online surveys and questionnaires (with different question types, conditional logic, response limits, etc.)
  • Conducting surveys for:
    • Evaluation of teaching quality and study process
    • Research (scientific, doctoral, master theses, projects)
    • Collecting feedback from students, teachers, researchers or employees
    • Self-assessment, accreditation, internationalization and other institutional processes
    • Surveys within projects (e.g. HRS4R – strategy for researchers, internationalization of higher education, etc.)
  • Public or restricted access to surveys (with possibility of anonymity or named response)
  • Multi-language support (language change on the homepage)
  • Display of available active surveys on the homepage („The following surveys are available:“)

The platform is intended for students, teaching and non-teaching staff, researchers and administration of the University of East Sarajevo, as well as external participants in surveys conducted by the university.

System Access

  • The homepage enables direct viewing and filling of publicly available surveys without login (if set up that way).
  • For creating surveys, management and viewing results, login through the admin section (/admin) is required, with a user account assigned by the University Computer Center (URC) or authorized person at the faculty/unit.
  • Language can be changed on the homepage („Change language“).

The service is part of the official list of services of the University of East Sarajevo (listed on www.ues.rs.ba in the „Services“ section as „University surveys (LimeSurvey)“) and is used for various institutional and research purposes, including those related to European standards (e.g. European Charter for Researchers).
