'Web hosting' service provides organizational units with the possibility of placing (hosting) 'web' presentations on the server at UCCES.
Server space is provided, access to system applications necessary for the implementation of a website (Joomla, WordPress, MySQL, etc.), as well as remote access to the system. Hosted presentations are visible under the organizational unit's own domain (for example www.oj.ues.rs.ba).
In addition, UCCES provides its users with the possibility of placing personal presentations, so-called 'web hosting' for individual users. For placing presentations, users are provided with the possibility of remote access to the system via 'ssh' service.
'Web hosting' service includes the following activities:
- maintenance of full 'on-line' functionality of the 'web' server and visibility of presentations,
- opening user names on servers,
- monitoring servers and 'web' services,
- protection of servers from potential hacker attacks,
- allocation of appropriate space on the server disk for placing presentations,
- possibility of remote access to the server for independent maintenance of presentations,
- regular 'backup' of data.
