The University Computer Center has moved to a new location
The University Computer Center of the University of East Sarajevo (URCIS) has successfully moved to new, modern and more spacious premises.
New (and current) address: Rectorate, Stefan Nemanja 5, 71123, East Sarajevo, Republika Srpska.
URCIS represents a key and necessary infrastructure point of the entire University of East Sarajevo. Its premises and server rooms house all the basic and critical services without which the normal functioning of the University would be almost impossible. This includes:
• University Information System (ISU) – a central database for student records, teaching processes, finances and administrative affairs,
• VPN network – connecting all 19 organizational units into one secure, encrypted network,
• e-mail (@ues.rs.ba and @student.ues.rs.ba),
• web hosting and DNS services for faculty and academy presentations,
• eStudent, eZaposleni, eNIR, eLearning, Cloud UIS platforms, video conferences (Meet UIS), surveys (LimeSurvey), student infokiosk and many other services.
This relocation enables significantly better working conditions for the team, the purchase of modern equipment, the expansion and modernization of the server room, greater energy efficiency, better ambient conditions and security conditions for critical IT infrastructure. In this way, URCIS will be able to provide even better, faster and more reliable support to all organizational units, employees and students of the University.
It is important to emphasize that all key services continued to operate normally without any interruption during the relocation. Access to applications and services remains at the exact same internet addresses (e.g. ues.rs.ba, ezaposleni.ues.rs.ba, estudant.ues.rs.ba, mail.ues.rs.ba, cloud.ues.rs.ba, etc.), and contact details have not changed:
